Giles Wordsworth
Contract Director, Head of Winchester Office
Giles heads up our Winchester office and is the contractor director for the Winchester Diocesan Board of Finance. He has overall responsibility for all services to the diocese.
Giles is contract director for clients including Winchester College, Christ Church Oxford and Oxford University Endowment Management. His experience includes advising the Church Commissioners on a disposal strategy for some of their short term let farmland, identifying land no longer core to the portfolio.
Crispin Mahony
Property Director and Lead Agent
Crispin is the property director and lead agent with overall day-to-day responsibility for service to both the houses and glebe. He will be the main point of contact for reporting to the diocese.
Crispin’s clients include private landowners, institutions and charities, such as Ombersley Conservation Trust and Tyttenhanger.
Formerly he managed the 10,000 acre rural estate on behalf of Christ Church Oxford, where he effected a series of sustainable improvements to the value of the assets over more than a decade.
Tom Rowarth
Rural Surveyor, Property Manager
Tom will be the property manager and deputy lead agent for the house portfolio and glebe. He will provide a senior day-to-day point of contact for clergy and other stakeholders and oversee input from all our specialist teams, including our team undertaking the property visits.
Tom is head of Savills Cathedrals Group, which coordinates input from our teams working with Anglican cathedrals and research on the challenges they face. He is well versed in the regulations affecting the operation of church bodies, including the new Cathedrals Measure, the Endowment and Glebe Measure, the Church Property Measure and the Charities Act.
With strong connections with the Church, Tom has been closely monitoring the steps being taken to achieve its net zero target.
Natasha Holden
Graduate Rural Surveyor
Natasha supports Tom on all day-to-day matters, and will be a key point of contact for clergy and glebe tenants.
Natasha will liaise with our other rural surveyors undertaking the property visits.
She regularly undertakes property visits and provides valuable input into strategic asset decisions.
Frances Farrer
Office Manager
Frances is the office manager for the Winchester office with responsibility for the premises, health & safety and finance.
She also heads up the Administration team and acts as contract administrator for the Diocese of Winchester, with oversight of contractors.
