Within the Church of England, certain districts are broken down into diocese. Each diocese is then broken down further into smaller geographical areas, which we call deaneries.
The Diocese of Winchester is made up of thirteen deaneries: Alresford, Alton, Andover, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Eastleigh, Lyndhurst, Odiham, Romsey, Southampton, Whitchurch and Winchester. Find out more about each of our deaneries:
