Canon Treasurer – Winchester Cathedral

The Bishop of Winchester wishes to appoint a full-time Residentiary Canon Treasurer to join the Chapter of Winchester Cathedral.

The Canon Treasurer will oversee the Cathedral’s outreach to schools and colleges through the Learning Team, and work with the Dean to enhance the Cathedral’s role as Mother Church of the Diocese of Winchester.

Stipend: Residentiary Canon Stipend is in accordance with the rates issued by the Church Commissioners for the Diocese of Winchester – in 2023/24 £34,257

Working Hours: Full-time, flexible, in line with operational needs and the liturgical calendar, with one full day off per week

Contract: Permanent

Accommodation: Provided rent-free within the Cathedral close, with contributions towards utilities
