Event Description

This will be a valuable opportunity to connect, reflect, and grow together in our leadership roles. Lunch will be provided.

Established Leaders Workshop:

This workshop helps experienced leaders refine their leadership abilities and enhance their personal development so as to increase their leadership influence.

The workshop will cover areas which include:

  • Overcoming leadership plateaus and building resilient plans.
  • Deepening self-awareness for personal growth.
  • Leading effectively under pressure while maintaining personal well-being.
  • Strengthening team leadership through delegation, difficult conversations, and conflict resolution.
  • Mentoring less experienced leaders and passing on expertise.

The workshop will be delivered by Simon Kirby a Senior Consultant with the Wakeman Wright Group. Simon has an understanding of the unique pressures of ordained ministry having been ordained for over 20 years and served as a school chaplain, police chaplain and latterly for 12 years as vicar of a benefice in the Diocese of Oxford and assistant Area Dean. Simon’s own church team (lay and paid) found the training that will be delivered genuinely transformational, which is one of the reason’s that he now delivers it regularly in Diocesan contexts.
