Parish Safeguarding Dashboard and Hubs

Parish Safeguarding Dashboard

The Parish Safeguarding Dashboard is a simple-to-use online tool, that helps Parish Safeguarding Officers and PCCs to keep track of safeguarding within their parish.  The Dashboard links to Church of England safeguarding policies, guidance and local templates.  Parish Safeguarding Action Plans can be easily downloaded and help PCCs monitor safeguarding arrangements within their parish.

For information on getting started with the Dashboard, tutorials and FAQ’s, please visit the Safeguarding Dashboards website

Use the Parish Dashboard link to access your Dashboard

Book onto one of our monthly drop-in sessions. These sessions are held on the first Thursday of each month (excluding July and August) from 10:00 – 12:00 at Old Alresford Place. Booking is essential. To reserve a place, please contact Michelle PrideSafeguarding Administrator.

Safeguarding Hubs

Safeguarding Hubs enable safer recruitment and training requirements to be recorded in one place.  Purchased by the diocese, Safeguarding Hubs are available, free of charge, to all parishes to simplify the process and storing of this information.

The first three tools:

  • Keep track of DBS checks and safeguarding training
  • Create role descriptions and person specifications
  • Track the safer recruitment of new volunteers

There are two ways to become a Safeguarding Hubs owner:

  • You should find an invitation displayed on the homepage of your Safeguarding Dashboard
  • If another owner from your parish has already accepted an invitation, you will need to ask them to send you an invitation to be a Hub Owner too
  • For more information download the brochure or contact Michelle Pride
