Event Description
The Bible is a wonderful resource. God speaks through it and the Spirit opens its words to comfort and challenge us. But we also know many in our churches struggle to engage with it. This interactive day, primarily aimed at LLMs. BPPs, BCM Worship and home group leaders, will help you explore creative ways to help people engage with and enjoy their Bible. It will develop your understanding of the construction and history of the Bible and consider how it can be a tool of mission.
The day is hosted by Hyde Church as a Christchurch Deanery Study Day but is also open to others. There is a charge of £5, payable on the day, which includes a light lunch and refreshments. The day will consist of 4 individual sessions each consisting of a talk, Q&A and discussion. There will also be a Bible exhibition to enjoy.
