Event Description
In the bustling journey of church leadership, we often find ourselves deeply immersed in day-to-day responsibilities, which may leave little time to explore crucial aspects of discipleship and spiritual formation. This workshop is aimed at igniting thoughtful dialogue and providing practical tools to enhance our collective approach to discipleship.
Key Themes Include:
• Understanding the Discipleship Shape of the Church
• Identifying Blind Spots in Discipleship
• Utilizing `Making Disciples` as a Diagnostic Tool
• Reflecting on Whole Life Discipleship
• Cultivating Areas of Strength and Addressing Struggles in Faith Walks
• Developing discipleship pathways
This workshop is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all, whether you lead or represent a church community, are a small group leader, or are an individual seeking to deepen your understanding of discipleship and spiritual formation.
Revd Cris Rogers will lead and facilitate the day. Cris is Rector of All Hallows Church Bow in East London and Chair of the planning group of Spring Harvest. He is also an author of several books and runs a podcast called We Are Making Disciples.
Join us as we embark on this transformative journey, embracing the opportunity to elevate our conversation around discipleship and spiritual formation for the flourishing of our communities and the glory of God.
