Harvesting Hope – Nurturing Growth in Lay Ministry

You are warmly invited to join us for a day of celebration and encouragement of lay ministry in all its forms in the Diocese.

We are delighted to have Carrie Myers, Head of Lay Ministries at the National Church as our keynote speaker. Carrie has championed lay ministries within the national Ministry Development Team since taking up the role in 2019. Her national role involves celebrating and raising the profile of lay ministries and supporting the work of dioceses to create a church in which lay ministries flourish and thrive.

Bishop David will also bring words of encouragement. We will have workshops on our theme and spend time in worship, prayer and fellowship in our various groups (LLMs, BCMs, BPPs etc). Lunch will be provided.

There is a charge of £5 per person to attend to help cover some of the expenses of the day but we are expecting a wonderful day of spiritual nourishment in the presence of God.
