Understanding Christianity is a national project that the Church of England has invested in heavily. It is a high-quality resource for teaching about Christianity, and is an aspect of the new SIAMS framework.
Almost all the schools in our Diocese use the Understanding Christianity materials as a resource to support the Locally Agreed syllabus, Living Difference 111 or Any Questions? It offers a creative approach to teaching RE, that helps children explore the Christian story and their own understanding of the world and their place in it.
