Safeguarding Hubs enable safer recruitment and training requirements to be recorded in one place. Purchased by the diocese, Safeguarding Hubs are available, free of charge, to all parishes to simplify the process and storing of this information.
The first three tools:
- Keep track of DBS checks and safeguarding training
- Create role descriptions and person specifications
- Track the safer recruitment of new volunteers
There are two ways to become a Safeguarding Hubs owner:
- You should find an invitation displayed on the homepage of your Safeguarding Dashboard
- If another owner from your parish has already accepted an invitation, you will need to ask them to send you an invitation to be a Hub Owner too.
