Children’s Worker – St Paul’s Winchester

Are you energetic, enthusiastic, fun and friendly? St Paul’s Winchester are looking for a new member of their children & youth ministry team to lead their 11-15s group.

You will prepare and lead sessions for young people aged 11-15 on Sundays, working alongside the Children & Youth Ministry Leader and a strong team of volunteers.

Hours:

  • Sunday mornings 8:45 to 10:45am (minimum 2 Sundays per month) in term time, plus 1 hour weekly preparation time and occasional meetings.
  • Sunday afternoons 5 to 7pm once a month.
  • To start as soon as possible.

Pay:

£10.50-£12.50 per hour depending on experience.

Attributes:

  • There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian
  • Aged 18+
  • Good at working in a team
  • A good communicator
  • Able to be creative in engaging children in the Christian faith
  • Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
