St Thomas is a welcoming and vibrant church in the heart of Lymington. Their distinctive and much-loved parish church has been a place of worship since 1250. They are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager to support the growing work they do within the church and parish. Working alongside committees, staff and volunteers, your role will be to ensure the efficient, safe and effective running of St Thomas’ church buildings, grounds and activities on a day-to-day basis. This role is multi-faceted and you will be involved with:
- The buildings and grounds
- Communications and IT
- Database Management
- Event Management including finances
- Health and Safety
- HR and Governance
- Security
St Thomas is looking for someone who loves variety in their role and can adapt to changes quickly with the minimum of fuss, has excellent organisational and administrative skills, brings a positive, proactive and solution-focused mindset and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty!
Initially this is a part-time role for 25 hours per week, with the option of some flexibility, attracting a salary of between £21,500 and £23,500 [FTE £32,250 – £35,250] per annum depending on experience and qualifications. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays: 5% employer pension contribution (NEST): training and ongoing development.
