Growing Younger – A Day for Clergy, Youth, Children and Family Workers

Event Description

Clergy, Youth, Children and Family workers are warmly invited to join us for a day to envision how this ministry can be encouraged in your local context. It will be especially beneficial for clergy and those involved in CFY ministry to attend together. Emma Buchan and Tom Clark from the National Church will be with us to explore the following:

• Landscape: Creating spaces where children and young people thrive. What are we seeing across the country and in the Diocese of Winchester with regards to children and young people? What is the research saying? And what do we pray that we will see more of? We’ll unpack the current landscape and ask the question – how we can shape a youth and children’s ministry that will help develop active young disciples who last
• Volunteering: Finding more, having fun, and building a sustainable strong team
• Growth: Developing missionary disciples

The day is equally suitable whether you currently have no youth or children’s ministry or an existing one. Tom and Emma would love to encourage and support you whatever your situation.
