All Saints Church, Odiham, held a free community event last Sunday (31st July) at the local recreation ground. Everyone was welcome and there was everything from Sumo suits, bouncy castles, jousting competitions, face painting and Ukrainian crafts. Although based on this photo, we think our Curate, Amber, had more fun than most of the kids!
It was brilliant to see such a good turn out from the local area, with many commenting on how grateful they were for the Church to organise a free and fun event for kids and families.
The aim was to have some fun and in the process, make the Church visible in a part of the Community that in the past we haven’t always had as much contact with.
It was a great success and got us thinking about that old mantra ‘people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.’
