The Clergy Partners Network provides support for partners and families at all stages of ministry, from partners of ordinands to retired clergy. It offers time and space to get together, to share stories, information, to renew friendships and create new ones.
The latest gathering was an Advent retreat held at Wisdom House in Romsey. The morning was led by Revd Canon Prof Liz Stuart with the theme ‘what are you waiting for’. It included two guided meditations and a booklet of photos and scripture to reflect upon. There was a time for chat and a craft room offering opportunities for weaving, card making, painting and drawing. There was a quiet lounge to sit in, outdoor space to explore and the group enjoyed lunch together.

The Clergy Partners Network is one of a number of initiatives by the Diocese of Winchester to support the wellbeing of clergy and their families, recognising the unique challenges of clergy work. The group also holds an event at Lent and a meal every month and new members are always welcome. For more information email: clergypartners@winchester.anglican.org
