Event Description
This is the date of the opening session for the BCM Programme being held in person at Freemantle, Southampton, during the autumn term. The opening and closing sessions are held on a Saturday, currently at Old Alresford Place and the topic sessions will be held on Monday mornings at Christ Church Freemantle, 10am to 12.30pm apart from one which will be online in the evening due to trainer availability.
The dates for this programme are as follows:
- Launch: 7th September, at Old Alresford Place.
- Topic Sessions: Monday mornings – 16th and 23rd September, 14th October, 4th and 11th November, at Freemantle. On 7th November the session will be online in the evening.
BCM Worship is for those who have a desire to lead God’s people into God’s presence. The training will cover the core skills required to lead worship in your church/community and on completion carries an authorisation to lead non eucharistic worship more than once a quarter.
BCM is an opportunity for lay people exploring new areas of ministry or wanting to develop in their existing ministry. Experienced practical trainers lead each session and we also value your existing ministry experience and wisdom. BCM training is therefore both relational and practical. Through participating in the programme you will gain new insights and skills but we also believe God will shape you for your place in his mission.
