Parish Administrator – Parish of Sholing

The Parish of Sholing, Southampton, are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic administrator to come and join their Parish team on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) to support the Vicar and the Leadership Team. The purpose of the role is to facilitate the day-to-day administrative operations of the Parish and to help them improve their communication, efficiency and pastoral care.  As a faith-based organisation and place of Christian worship, their beliefs are central to everything they do. The post-holder will be expected to respect these beliefs and work actively to support the parish’s ministry and vision.

The successful candidate will be an efficient and experienced administrator, with strong communication and IT skills.  The ability to work alone, set priorities and use initiative is essential, as is the ability to listen and respond appropriately to a wide range of people ensuring confidentiality.
