Children & Primary Schools Worker – Parish of the Resurrection

Parish of the Resurrection, Alton, are actively seeking a Children & Primary Schools Worker.

Since their last Youth & Children’s Worker left in the summer of 2023, the parish have reflected and put together a new role which they hope will give someone the ideal opportunity to grow their ministry amongst children, working alongside the children’s families and local primary schools.  The parish have a number of groups and activities already:

• Teddies Toddler Groups in St Lawrence Church and The Church of the Holy Rood Holybourne
• Glow – an After School Club for those in Key Stage 2
• Lighthouse children’s groups on Sundays in St Lawrence Church
• Collective Worships (assemblies) in some of the local schools
• Curriculum support for schools both in parish buildings and in classrooms
• Board Game Afternoons
• Activities for the major festivals – Christmas, Easter, Harvest etc

Parish of the Resurrection need someone to lead and inspire these groups and activities, as well as introduce them to new ideas, where is God is leading.
